Stirling's state of the art swimming pool... well, it was when it opened in the 1970's. A reasonably sized pool although the water in the main pool can be chilly at times. Okay for swimming but it can feel cold if you are splashing around with small children.Communal changing areas are grubby and the floor can get wet and slippery when busy.

Still good value for money. The Rainbow Slides are fun and not too much of a scary, gravity defying nightmare. Younger children can start on the gentle, Yellow Sunny Ride before building up to the faster, Red rainy Run and then scare themselves on the fast Blue Thunder slide.

25 METRE POOLThe six lane 25 metre pool is used for water based fitness classes, general swimming, lane swimming and competitions. There is also a spectating area which overlooks the main pool.

TEACHING POOLThe L shaped teaching pool is designed for the youngto introduce them to swimming and is maintained at a higher temperature than the main pool. There is a spectating area next to the pool that allows parents to watch their children's activities.

CHILDREN'S SWIMMING LESSONSThe children's swimming lesson programme for both pre-school aud school age children has classes suitable for beginners, improvers and advanced swimmers.

ADULT SWIMMING LESSONSFully qualified and experienced instructors will be able to teach you how to swim, or improve your technique at any level from beginners to advanceed.

WATER FLUMES AND FUN SESSIONSThere are three water flumes which are open at weekends and during school holidays. fun sessions for 6-12 year olds are held on a regular basis, dates and times of which are advertised within the facility. The session includes unlimited use of the slides, pool, aquarium (water obstacle course) and floats.
