Self-Catering Apartments in the centre of Stirling.
Housed in an impressive Victorian mansion, dating back to 1870, a warm welcome awaits you at Royal Gardens holiday apartments. Our location is just 4 minutes from the city centre and many of Stirling's historic visitor attractions, including Stirling Castle (of which there are spectacular views from two of the apartments).

The luxurious, accommodation provides a choice of one bedroom or four bedroom flats which are ideal for family holidays in the Stirling area or other events such as weddings.

The four bedroomed apartment accommodates up to 13 people. Our rates are very competitive and start at just £10 per person per night.

Our three apartments are located just minutes from the city centre and many of Stirling's historic visitor attractions, including Stirling Castle (of which there are spectacular views from two of the apartments). The luxury, accommodation provides a choice of one bedroom or four bedroom flats and are ideal for family holidays in the Stirling area or other events such as weddings.

Internally, the apartments incorporate dramatic architectural features. Examples include a finely preserved example of a Victorian cupola ceiling within the Albert apartment, which provides a unique dining experience; and original finely preserved parquet flooring in the Victoria apartment. Uninterrupted views from the apartments are unrivalled within the city. Secure off street, garaged car parking can be made available.

The accommodation is usually booked on a self catering basis but B&B (bed and breakfast) is also available on request by prior arrangement. There are a choice of eating establishments within a 1 mile radius of the apartments including Scottish and International restaurants and hotels. We now have an association with a high quality chef and as a result are offering the additional optional service of catering a luxury 5 course meal for large parties (up to 24 people can be accommodated) in the grand dining room in the Albert Apartment.

The owners live very nearby and are available for assistance and guidance regarding a wide variety of matters. Keys can be collected from the main house.

There is plentiful on street parking outside the apartments. This is free in the evenings/overnight and on Sundays. It costs £2 per day on other days.

Location

Royal Gardens Holiday Villas are situated in an absolutely perfect position within Stirling's historic King's Park area. The Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum is immediately next door (café and gardens in addition to museum). The renowned Stirling Golf Club (Visitors welcome) is immediately across the street. For Golfers other more famous golf courses are within easy reach of Stirling, most notably Gleneagles (20 minutes drive); Muirfield, St Andrews, Carnoustie and Loch Lomond all approximately one hour's drive.

Spectacular views of Stirling Castle are available from many rooms within the apartments and the Castle can be visited on foot only 10 minute's walk away. The former historic gardens of Stirling Castle, 'The King's Knot' are situated on Royal Gardens directly opposite the property. All the facilities of the City Centre (shops, restaurants, railway station, bus station etc are five minute's walk away). Other tourist attractions which are also immediately accessible on foot include Stirling Old Town Jail.

Stirling is the gateway to the Highlands and affords easy access to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Stirling is within easy reach of many other must-see cities, including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.


Getting Here

by Car
From Junction 10 of the M9 follow signs to Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle (A84) at the 4th Roundabout (Fire Station on left and Stirling Castle straight ahead and above you) go straight ahead onto the B8051. At 1st roundabout turn left onto Albert Place. Royal Gardens Holiday Villas is now immediately ahead and to the left of you (The big building with Twin Towers).

by Railway
Regular train services from both Glasgow and Edinburgh. Upon arrival at Stirling Railway Station, follow pedestrian directions from town centre above.

by Aeroplane
Edinburgh Airport is half an hour to the south east by car. Glasgow airport is 45 minutes by car. Dundee Airport is 1 hour by car. From Edinburgh Airport take M9 to Junction 10 and follow car directions above. From Glasgow Airport, take M8 to Glasgow, once through Glasgow take M80 to Stirling. M80 turns into M9 at Stirling. Get off at Junction 10 and follow car directions above.

Walking from Stirling Town Centre
From the Town Centre walk west on Albert Place / Dumbarton Road for approximately 5 minutes until Stirling Castle comes into view on your right hand side. Royal Gardens holiday Villas is at 42 Albert Place which is the last building on the right hand side of Albert Place at the junction with Royal Gardens.
