In the village of Blairlogie, an outstanding Conservation Area, near to Stirling and the Wallace Monument.
Blairlogie is a tiny, picturesque village at the foot of the Ochil Hills, mainly of 18th-century houses, and a wee castle.
We are surrounded by fields, woods and orchards. It is peaceful here, and the landscape is very beautiful.
Watergate is a Listed Building for its architectural and historical interest.
Accommodation
The cottage has all conveniences and most of them are new. There is a living room, a bedroom with twin beds (which can be rearranged as a double), a kitchen, bathroom and hallway, with a front and back door, all self-contained.
The building is octagonal in shape, with gas central heating and double-glazing. Electricity is supplied free, but you are expected to pay for the gas that you use: usually that is not very much -- perhaps 50p - £1 per day.
The kitchen has electric hob, microwave/conventional oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, etc.
There is a garden, and ample parking space.
All linen, crockery, etc is supplied. You would need only your personal belongings.

We normally expect a 20% deposit to confirm a booking. The balance can be paid when you are leaving.
We expect bookings to run from Saturday to Saturday. At quieter times of the year we can sometimes make other arrangements.
Location
Blairlogie is within easy reach of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth (all about 45 minutes drive), and with good rail and motorway connections close by.
It's also very easy to get to magnificent highland scenery at the Trossachs, or to picturesque fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife.
