Our six self catering Scottish Holiday Lodges are all located in peaceful surroundings with lovely views over Ben Ledi in the heart of the Trossachs. Brand new luxury self-catering “loghouses”. Full kitchen, washing machine, TV/DVD, private garden, BBQ, hot tub. On-site restaurant, farm shop, stables.

These purpose-built self-catering lodges can accommodate 6 people. The lodges are fully heated and double glazed. Three of the lodges have 2 double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, while the other three have 1 twin and 1 double bedroom with seperate dining room.

Each has a bathroom with a shower over and separate toilet and basin. The living area is is furnished with sofa easy chairs and a colour TV with DVD player and benefits from free view Sky TV. The kitchen is all electric with a washing machine, oven and hob, fridge microwave, dishwasher, plus all the usual kitchen equipment.

All of our Lodges have their own parking area and a garden with furniture and BBQ equipment. Clothes drying area in garden.
We offer to our guests at no extra cost the use of a hot tub which can accommodate six people easily for a wonderful bubbly soak! The hot Tub is covered but is not situated inside the Lodges.
All linen, bedding and towels are provided including kitchen and hand towels as well as such items as high chairs (by request).
Lighting is included in the price. Heating is included up to a maximum of £20 for week rentals and £10 for short breaks.

We offer 3, and 4-night short breaks as well as excellent weekly rates. The rates displayed are for 4 nights mid week booking or for 3 nights weekend booking. Short Breaks are Limited in High Season.
We always try to cater for extra days and special requests, so please enquire.

Our two bedroom lodges have the benefit of a separate dining lodge, perfect for two or four people as it allows extra living space. Situated in a area of natural outstanding beauty. Perfect for a romantic break or family holiday. Lots of activities on our door step for the more adventurous.

Information

Benview Holiday Lodges are located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, overlooking Ben Ledi. We are ideally situated for exploring the Trossachs and Loch Lomond, whilst still conveniently situated for shops and restaurants.

There is no shortage of out door activities in the area. Walkers and cyclists will probably already know of the numerous opportunities on our doorstep. Other things to hand are golf, fishing and pony trekking. Within a few minutes drive are the small towns of Aberfoyle and Callander, which have some excellent gift shops, outdoor shops and Woollen Mills for those in need of some retail therapy. They also offer a fine selection of restaurants and pubs, with even more choice available when the local villages of Drymen, Buchlyvie and Gartmore are included.

Benview Holiday Lodges are exceptionally well-appointed. All feature a private garden with furniture and barbeque. On site we have a hot tub that can accommodate 6 people, this is offered to guests at no extra cost. Those who appreciate luxury while away from home will not be disappointed!

We supply everything that you would find at home; fully functional kitchen with washing machine, and all cooking utensils and crockery, in fact all you have to bring is your clothes! There is also TV and DVD and access to free view Sky television.

There is an onsite restaurant/coffee shop selling snacks to full meals and plenty of delicious home baking. Next to the coffee house there is a gift shop selling ladies clothing and gifts. Our guests are offered a 20% discount in both. For the kids there is a play park. Cycle hire also available.

The owners live on the site and are always happy to help and assist you if required. We are located in the Trossachs, 15 miles from Glasgow and 50 miles from Edinburgh.

Respecting others
After 11pm we insist that noise level is kept to a minimum so as not to disturb others.

Cleaning
The lodge should be left in a clean and tidy condition. If the lodge is left in an unacceptable state an extra charge will be incurred to cover the extra cleaning.

Pets
We regret that we do not have the facility to accommodate pets.

Smoking
We do not allow smoking inside the lodges, however there is your own private garden area if you should wish to smoke.

Late Arrivals
Guests arriving later than 6pm should telephone us so we can arrange for a key to be left for you.

Car Parking
Ample private parking outside your lodge.

Payment Policy
You are expected to pay for the time you reserve whether or not you are able to stay the entire time. We do accept all major debit and credit cards. If you pay by credit card there will be a 2.8% surcharge payable.

Deposits are 25% of the booking value with the balance due 28 days prior to arrival.

Utilities
Lighting is included in the rental, also included in the rental is £10 for heating for short breaks and £20 for week long rentals thereafter heating is charged for at cost. We find a huge variation in guests usage of electricity. For this reason we feel it is fairer to charge fuel at cost as an extra. That way the more economical guests are not subsidising the more extravagant users as so often happens when an all-in rental figure is quoted. All-in rentals tend to build in a fuel allowance based on average to high useage. Our system means you only pay for what you use.

Cancellation Policy
Our receipts of you’re deposit guarantees you’re reservation. In turn you are financially responsible for the entire reservation. Should you need to cancel, we will refund you’re deposit less a £60 handling fee only if notified within 60 days prior to arrival. If you are unable to give us 60 days notice, we will make every effort to book you’re space to another party. If we are successful, only then will you receive a refund minus £60 handling fee.

Local Activities and Attractions

Within a 10 mile radius of us there is Aberfoyle woollen mill. Also plenty to do such as golf, fishing, water sports, horse trekking, and bike hire. There is even a local whisky distillery.

If walking is your thing then we are 5 miles from the start of the West Highland Way. We have great walks in the area both gentle and level, to the more challenging.

We are situated approx 10 miles from Callander where you could enjoy a lovely day out, there are plenty of shops and eating places you will be spoilt for choice. In Callander there is also a leisure centre which has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, Steam room, fitness centre, climbing wall, games room for football, netball and badminton. There is also indoor bowls also outdoor football and tennis.

You could visit an Action Adventure Centre, where you can try your hand at 4x4 Driving, Quad Biking, Climbing & Abseiling, Archery and Off Road Buggy.
