Cromlix House Hotel is set in a beautiful 2000 acre estate, 10 minutes from Stirling and only a 40 minutes drive from Glasgow and 50 minutes drive from Edinburgh. Cromlix House Hotel retains it's original character and is furnished throughout with antiques, fine furnishing and paintings.
The house boasts standard bedrooms to master suites which offer comfort and luxury. The five public rooms are typical of a shooting lodge. Dining at Cromlix too, is an experience to be savoured. Our award winning chef prepares a fresh menu daily only using the finest ingredients. Country pursuits include fishing, clay shooting or simply enjoy the wildlife nearby. Features include a charming chapel perfect for weddings.
Suites
Each of our eight suites is incredibly spacious and magnificently comfortable, providing some of the most luxurious holiday accommodation Scotland has to offer.
Our master suites are so large that they are often called apartments; each has its own bathroom and sitting room, and the furnishings include many antiques. You will escape from the world when you arrive in your suite at Cromlix.
Bedrooms
We have six double or twin bedrooms; each one is individually decorated and furnished and all are magnificently comfortable.
In the bedrooms you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay - luxurious toiletries, cosy Cromlix bathrobes, tranquil decor and if you have to stay in touch with the outside world: TV with satellite channels and free broadband access.
Heritage
Cromlix House was built in 1874 as a family residence - described modestly as a "cottage" and the individualism of the original home asserts itself in the charming character and idiosyncratic details of this remarkable building.
Gourmet Foods
Whatever your personal preferences, we will always offer gourmet foods in our truly Scottish restaurant. If you favour Michelin Star Restaurants, we think you'll love our food!
From Monday to Friday we serve our mid week lunch menu, while at the weekend we change the lunch menu and on Sunday we provide a more traditional choice.
Afternoon Tea, the eternal Scottish favourite is offered complete with home made treats baked on the premises, and can be enjoyed anywhere within the house or gardens (weather permitting!).Our vegetarian choice is extensive and innovative and we can cater for special diets - please let us know.
Location
Central and convenient; 2 miles off the A9.
Airports: Aberdeen 2 hours 15 mins, Edinburgh 45 minutes, Glasgow 1 hour.
City / Town: Aberdeen 2 hours, Edinburgh 1 hour, Glasgow 45 minutes, Perth 30 minutes, Stirling 10 minutes.
If you are coming from the south, or from Glasgow or Edinburgh, the simplest way to find us is to head towards Stirling.
Once on the M9 (heading north), pass by Stirling and at the large roundabout continue onto the A9 towards Perth. At the exit marked Kinbuck (B8033) leave the A9 and follow signs to Kinbuck. Continue through Kinbuck until you see the sign for Cromlix House.
