Welcome to the King Robert Hotel Stirling. Situated on the site of the historic Battle of Bannockburn next to the Bannockburn Heritage Centre, the King Robert offers friendly and excellent value family hotel accommodation in Stirling Scotland. For those travelling by car we are easily accessible by motorway, just 2 minutes from junction 9 of theM9/M80, and we are within striking distance of all the best that Scotland has to offer.

We are also proud to announce that as of Autumn 2005, we have been awarded a 3 star grading by Visit Scotland.
Our 52 en-suite bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are equipped with all the necessary modern amenities; ask for a room with a DVD player (at no extra cost ).
We also have a honeymoon suite and deluxe rooms with spa baths.

There is a selection of menus in our 2 restaurants with a bar menu also available from 12 noon to 9p.m. in the comfortable King Robert Lounge Bar, and all room rates include a Full Scottish Breakfast. For those desiring a spot of exercise without straying too far, we have toning tables and running machines, or maybe a gentle stroll through the trees behind the hotel to the mighty statue of King Robert The Bruce, taking in the panoramic views of the castle and beyond...

Accommodation

The King Robert has 52 comfortable bedrooms all with private bathrooms,colour television,tea and coffee making facilities and direct dial telephone. Irons and ironing boards are readily available from reception and several rooms have trouser presses. We also have a honeymoon suite and some of our deluxe rooms have jacuzzis. Many of our rooms overlook the park. All our bathrooms have been recently upgraded.

Food & Drink
The hotel has recently opened the refurbished Bruce's Bistro. The well appointed Restaurant is open daily for lunch from 12 Noon till 2.30pm. The Restaurant offers a 3 Course table d'hote menu in the evening, as well as a full a la carte menu. Both menus are available from 6.00pm till 9.00pm. A full wine list is also available to compliment your meal selection.

If it's a less informal meal you would like why not try our extensive Lounge Bar Menu, with a range of "old favourites" to a selection of snacks and sandwiches in the comfort of our bar area. Major sporting events also shown on our large screen TV with all Sky Channels available.

Follow the M9/M80 and exit onto Slip Road (M9 J9). Take the exit onto the A872 following the signs for Bannockburn Heritage Centre. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto Glasgow Road. The King Robert Hotel, Stirling is situated beside Bannockburn Heritage Centre.
